We can offer support with learning an instrument, studying music theory, instrumental grades and music production.
Join regular creative sessions where you can explore your musical potential while developing social, personal, and performance skills. Work together to create new material and fresh arrangements of popular music, share ideas, and discover a wide range of styles and techniques.
We offer support to help you learn, progress, and celebrate your achievements through music-making. There are also opportunities to complete Arts Award qualifications (covering all performing art forms, not just music), work toward instrumental grades, and prepare for music theory or music production exams. You can even choose to take a face-to-face instrumental grade or submit an online performance exam.
Join our Music Production Programme and gain the essential skills to record, produce, and share your own music, guided by experienced industry professionals.
These hands-on sessions cover:
An introduction to Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), exploring their key features and layouts.
The basic equipment required for recording vocals and instruments.
The core steps of recording individual stems, editing with built-in effects, and mastering your finished track.
Practical ways to share your music with others.
Participants will take on individual or collaborative recording projects, working toward creating a radio-ready track (CD, WAV, or MP3 format). You’ll also be encouraged to continue developing your skills outside of sessions as part of our wider recording experiences.
We offer opportunities to celebrate and showcase achievements. These include taking part in concerts and festivals, posting to online services such as our YouTube channel or social media pages or a launch event for family and friends.
As part of our mentoring and support participants will be able to access help with technical set-up and use of equipment, feedback on their recordings, copyright and licencing, and pathways to further develop skills and career aspirations. Young creatives also have the option to self-study for an Arts Award and RockSchool Music Production, Theory and Instrumental qualification.
